Health Disparities Research Certificate

This online certificate program enhances the knowledge, skills and scientific resources relative to health disparities for practitioners and researchers who wish to contribute to a body of evidence that will lead to deeper understanding and elimination of health disparities. Those who complete the certificate program will be better equipped to conduct and evaluate relevant health disparities research that can lead to evidence-based interventions and policy that promotes health equity.
The Health Disparities Research online certificate program is taught by experienced faculty and is designed to provide easily accessible training in health disparities research skills. This certificate program provides practitioners with essential research skills and is taught by experienced and well-funded faculty.
The program is designed for graduate and professional students, including: master's, pre-doctoral or doctoral candidates; fellows with interests in health disparities research; junior faculty who may be expanding their research interests to include health disparities; and working health professionals with relevant experience with vulnerable populations having earned at minimum, a baccalaureate degree related to health or human services and the graduate level pre-requisites as described.
